POSITION SUMMARY: 

Under the direction of the Deputy Managing Director, Solutions Engineering and Operations the Senior Manager, IT Operations is responsible for managing all technology services used to enable business capabilities and services across the enterprise. The Senior Manager develops and maintains an understanding of the needs of the organization for performant and resilient infrastructure services and provides services in accordance with these needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages all internal resources and external supplier relationships engaged in the delivery of ForHealth Consulting technology services.
• Develops, maintains and routinely reports on metrics that measure the overall performance of the I&O services and their impact on business performance.
• Ensures systems perform to expectations and are highly available.
• Conducts Root Cause Analyses, proposes and follows through on corrective actions in response to system outages or significant degradations in performance.
• Collaborates with Solutions Engineering and Enterprise Architecture leaders to design systems infrastructure that effectively supports ForHealth Consulting business solutions.
• Collaborates with Information Security resources to ensure I&O services remain compliant with all applicable standards.
• Manages contract resources and suppliers engaged in the delivery of Forhealth Consulting Technology services
• Governs the key ITSM processes associated with ForHealth Consulting IT Operations.
• Functions as a point of escalation for business users to report issues with business solutions and engages with appropriate resources to ensure resolution.
• Provides direction and oversight for the full ForHealth Consulting IT system life cycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Masters degree or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in an infrastructure and operations role
• 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles requiring strong vendor management skills
• 5 years of experience managing teams of technical professionals in a software delivery or IT operations role
• Experience in ITIL (version 3 or 4)
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Strong analytical and business management skills with track record of problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work with others, inspires trust with strong communication & presentation skills.
• Demonstrable experience in managing solutions leveraging AWS and/or Azure. Preference will be given to applicants with certifications in those areas.
• Applicants with prior practice of Infrastructure as Code are preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the Healthcare Industry
