Under the general direction of the Senior Assessment Manager, Center on Child Wellbeing and Trauma (CCWT), the Assessment Coach provides support in coaching organizations though the completion of the Child Wellbeing and Trauma Assessment. The coach will work to review the assessment tool with the organization, identify barriers to becoming more trauma informed and responsive, guide organizations through a series of steps to improve their ability to be trauma informed and responsive.
This position provides consultation, coaching, and implementation support based on organizational gaps and needs as identified by completed individualized assessments. The Senior Assessment Manager provides coaching and support to complete the assessment and assists in organizing Center-related assessment activities to facilitate the adoption of best practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelors Level Degree or equivalent in policy, human services, or social work.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience in preferably in human services or child and family work.
Program operational and policy experience at the community-based organization level
Strong commitment to public service with an entrepreneurial attitude, balanced with the ability to respect, galvanize, organize and coordinate constituent groups.
Proven administrative and management ability in a complex environment, preferably human services or other related service industry.
Demonstrated performance in program development, assessment and evaluation work
Training and public speaking experience necessary.
Demonstrated ability working with healthcare professionals, good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Extensive statewide travel including overnights possible.
