Overview:

Postdoctoral Position

 

We are seeking a talented, motivated postdoc to join the laboratory of Dr. Christian Mueller in the Gene Therapy Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be working on rAAV based RNAi therapeutics and genome editing, and will focus on using rAAV to induce epigenetic gene silencing, and/or gene edting of toxic gain of function genetic disorders in the liver and brain. 

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a PhD in biomedical sciences with a strong background in molecular biology. Experience in neuroscience or with CRISPR/Cas9 is necessary for applying; experience with next generation sequencing is also highly encouraged. Ability to work independently, be highly organized and have strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills is required.

 

An attractive salary and benefits package is available based upon relative working experience.
