Postdoctoral Associate, Lab of Viral Replication, Pathogenesis, and Immunity, UMass Medical School

Candidates are invited to apply for a post-doctoral position to study pathogenic viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, Ebola virus, and HIV-1. Qualifications: Education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, virology, or bioinformatics, or M.D. with equivalent experience
• Evidence of creativity and excitement about applying skills towards solving biological problems
• Highly collegial, works well as a team member, and embraces diversity as an essential strength of research
• Excellent analytical skills and independent judgement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous record keeping, proficiency with databases, and computational skills
