Post doctoral position in cancer mouse models and in vivo CRISPR

A post-doctoral position is available to study the role of tumor suppressor genes in liver using in vivo CRISPR. The goal is to determine whether CRISPR-mediated direct mutagenesis of tumor suppressor genes can identify novel liver cancer genes in mouse models. The laboratory is interested in building new CRISPR tools to understand the network of cancer genes in liver and lung cancers.

We seek motivated candidates with a PhD and background in cancer biology or gene therapy. The exceptional training environment within the RNA Therapeutics Institute at UMASS Medical School offers an interactive research environment covering RNA biology, RNA therapeutics and model organisms.
