The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise technology and solution architecture to support the strategic objectives of ForHealth Consulting. This individual works collaboratively across departments to ensure the effective integration of systems, processes, and technologies, maintaining alignment with organizational goals and priorities. The ForHealth Consulting Enterprise Architect reports to the Digital Solutions Managing Director and provides supervision to the Capture Team. 

The ForHealth Consulting Enterprise Architecture will support solutioning for new business opportunities and drive optimization, innovation, and enhancement across ForHealth Consultings technology portfolio. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to ensure our solutions are future-ready, cost-effective, scalable, and meet business unit and client needs, while maintaining strong alignment with Digital Solutions leadership and strategy.

• Build and maintain relationships as a trusted advisor, enabling and facilitating cross-organizational collaboration.
• Partner closely with executive, business unit and technology leaders to understand strategic and operational priorities, assess and advise on technology standards, architectures and solutions, and provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
• Work closely with the Market Growth and Transformation and solution set teams to support business development, relationship development and client relationship management, representing Digital Solutions in sales opportunities, proposals, client meetings, discussions and projects.
• Define and propose architecture and solutions for new client and market opportunities. Support the capture process by collaborating with business units, proposal teams, IT solution teams, and other subject matter experts.
• Provides oversight and supervision of the Capture Teams activities.
• Design end-to-end architectures (business, data, application and tech layers) for related ecosystems.
• Contribute to proposal responses, statements of work, estimation, pricing and presentations, providing technical expertise that differentiates ForHealth Consultings offerings.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date enterprise architecture road map that aligns with ForHealths goals and client objectives.
• Collaborate with IT solution teams to identify, select, design and deliver solutions that enhance system interoperability, scalability, and security.
• Continuously assess ForHealths technology portfolio; identify opportunities for consolidation, modernization, innovation, and improved interoperability and scalability. Partner with technology and business leadership to prioritize and implement recommendations.
• Lead strategic technology decisions, including analysis and recommendation of platform, capability or common solution opportunities, and build/buy options, building consensus among key leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop, document, and promote enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies to deliver a cohesive, consistent, efficient and effective technology portfolio that supports ForHealth goals and objectives.
• Develop, communicate and enforce enterprise architecture standards, policies, guidelines, and governance; ensure compliance with relevant regulations, contractual obligations, security requirements, institutional policies and standards.
• Define architecture standards to support interoperability, enable system integration across disparate systems and facilitate real-time data exchange to support population health, care coordination and analytics.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to define data architecture to support enterprise analytics and address evolving market opportunities and customer needs. Ensure secure, scalable data, reporting and analytics architecture. Support initiatives in value-based care through insights-driven architecture.
• Provide architectural oversight for major IT initiatives, projects and vendor/partner engagements; assist with business case development and risk assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends. Assess potential impacts and benefits to ForHealth Consulting. Recommend adoption strategies and lead pilot and proof-of-concept projects.
• Identify opportunities for technology to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and create competitive advantage.
• Prepare detailed technology and architecture analysis, diagrams, documentation, and recommendations. Effectively present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with Security Architect to integrate privacy-by-design and secure-by-default principles.
• Participate in and support IT planning, governance, and budgeting processes.
• Support change management, communication, and adoption efforts related to IT initiatives.
• Continuously assess and improve the enterprise architecture to adapt to changing health care and market landscapes.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 7+ years experience in IT architecture, design and delivery
• Proven ability to architect enterprise solutions in complex environments
• Business development and capture experience, including solutioning, proposal development and presentation
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships and serve as a trusted advisor
• Deep experience with current technology trends, architectures, platforms, data, and security requirements
• Excellent analysis, communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect)
  • Background and experience in human services, healthcare, and public sector markets
  • IT architecture experience in consulting, product or service delivery organization
  • Demonstrated history of successfully leading technology transformation and optimization projects
  • Familiarity with relevant industry, state, federal and international security and compliance standards
