Under the general direction of the Information Systems & Data Analytics Sr. Manager or designee, the PMIS and Data Analytics Manager will Provides full-time system administration, maintenance, repair, and support for the organization's Project Management System. Liaises with UMass Chan Departments to define and create any customized workflows and reports, assists and advises end users on correct usage of the system. Manages the scoping, design, programming and delivery of data analytics solutions between a variety of Facilities system sources, flat files and databases.
- Serves as the primary point of contact to UMass Chan senior management on all issues involving the PMIS system.
- Serves as the point of contact of helpdesk support for all end users of the PMIS
- Responsible for creation of customized workflows for individual projects whenever required
- Coordinate with both technical and non-technical staff and vendors on the design, documentation and implementation of new features and system improvements including creating ad-hoc reports as required.
- Create and disseminate custom reports for end users.
- Create System Documentation and provide training and technical guidance to the end users of the PMIS.
- Ensure data integrity exists between the PMIS software platform and other Facilities
- Manage processes and procedures for software updates and upgrades that impact the PMIS, including evaluation, implementation, testing, and training.
- Responsible for working with product vendors in order to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and maintenance/support contracts, etc.
- Manage the scoping, design, programming and delivery of data analytics solutions between a variety of Facilities system sources, flat files and databases.
- Develop and maintain the integration of internal and external data into databases, data warehouse, data marts, and flat files.
- Develop and maintain enterprise–wide data analytics solutions utilizing various dashboard and reporting tools like Power BI
- Performs extensive data discovery and unit testing to ensure deployment of quality analytic solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders when necessary to understand data needs to power analytic solutions.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelors degree in a business, health sciences, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of related experience; including at least 3 years of applied data analysis projects
- Advanced knowledge and use of SAS/SQL software
- Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience/skills in appropriate computer, statistical or database applications
- Excellent attention to detail and time management/organization skills to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to research issues and resources
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, journal articles and/ or other technical documents
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interact successfully with a wide range of individuals

Please note that the range provided reflects the full base salary range for this position. Offers are typically made within the midrange to allow for future growth and development within the role.
