GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Coordinator II is responsible for independently carrying out multiple complex and diverse research initiatives.
The Research Coordinator II will be housed within the Lifeline for Families Center within the Department of Psychiatry. Lifeline for families unites the existing perinatal mental health program Lifeline for Moms and out nationally recognized child trauma intervention program Lifeline for Kids.

This position will be housed within the Lifeline for Families Center (https://www.umassmed.edu/lifelineforfamilies/), within the Department of Psychiatry. Lifeline for Families unites the existing perinatal mental health program Lifeline for Moms (https://www.umassmed.edu/lifelineformoms/) and our nationally recognized child trauma intervention program Lifeline for Kids (https://www.umassmed.edu/lifelineforkids/). Projects aim to build the capacity of maternal and child health care providers to address mental health and substance use disorders among pregnant and postpartum (perinatal) individuals and their children. Studies range from outpatient Ob/Gyn and pediatric settings to community settings and include developing, implementing and evaluating innovative approaches to increase access to care through capacity building.
