The Newburger Lab in the Department of Pediatrics and The Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology  at UMass Chan Medical School is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship to pursue research related to neutropenia and disordered hematopoiesis in a mouse model of severe congenital neutropenia. 

Applicants should have a PhD degree or an MD with post-graduate scientific training, or within the last year of obtaining their doctoral degree in Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or a highly related field. The postdoctoral position is immediately available, funded by NIH R01 and UMass Chan Medical School funding.

Applicants with backgrounds and expertise in hematology, immunology, cell signaling, use of mouse models, flow cytometry, and molecular genetics are highly encouraged to apply.
