The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. William Kobertz.  This position is for an applicant who will synthesize a reagent to attach histidine-tagged fluorescent metabolite sensors to the glycocalyx of mammalian cells and use cellular imaging to detect extracellular metabolite fluxes.  Applicants are expected to be able to synthesize and characterize organic compounds independently.
