POSITION SUMMARY: 

Under the general direction of the Director of Compensation & Total Rewards or designee, the Compensation Program Coordinator is responsible for performing complex and varied duties to support the administration and implementation of all Compensation programs and policies. The Compensation Coordinator is responsible to manage the monthly/quarterly program metrics, monitor expenses against the Compensation budget, ensure timely submission of all invoices, maintain/update job descriptions/job codes, and review and process all employee compensation transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Update the Quarterly Metrics report. Compile data, produce statistics, draft narratives, format report for final review by Director. Prepare monthly metrics reporting for the Compensation Group to track all compensation activities. May identity trends or concerns related to this information and communicate this with Director.
  • Coordinate the Compensation budget. Work with the Executive Assistant to the AVC, ensures all invoices are paid on time and within budget. Notify Director of budget shortfalls.
  • Develop specialized forms as needed
  • Coordinate total rewards programs
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of a variety of compensation programs including salary increase programs, additional compensation, performance evaluations, and rewards and recognition programs and events
  • Responsible for validating, tracking, and processing a variety of compensation forms and activities such as personnel action forms (PA' s), additional compensation forms (Ad Comps), and Compensation Committee reporting.
  • Create job codes and maintains job descriptions within the appropriate systems (iCIMS, PeopleSoft, and internal drives) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information.
  • Perform periodic audits of job descriptions, job codes and job title formats to ensure compliance with regulations as well as internal processes.
  • Provides guidance to staff and others on compensation system issues such as retrieval of job descriptions, job codes, salary ranges, administrative policies and procedures.
  • Conducts audits on data in various HR Systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, iCIMS) to ensure compensation data integrity.
  • Participate in special projects that support unit programs and activities.
  • Administer compensation programs and policies as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Associates degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking system platforms.
  • Ability to directly interface with employees and managers to focus on meeting and exceeding required levels of service.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize work activities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft HR Platform or related HR systems
  • Previous experience in Human Resources or Compensation.

Please note that the range provided reflects the full base salary range for this position. Offers are typically made within the midrange to allow for future growth and development within the role.
