POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating efforts to implement, qualify and disseminate volunteers for the Volunteer Vaccine Corps (VVC) for UMASS.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports the stand up of multiple clinics in Worcester and including mass vaccination sites as well as other CWM support programs.

• Coordinates the relationships with schools that are seeking to enroll volunteers.

• Assists in the qualification process to qualify and ensure that all requirements are met (i.e. CORI, TB test, etc.).

• Works with project team to identify how to distribute volunteers across the vaccination sites/programs that UMMS is supporting. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with school administration, etc.

Possess ability to organize information and resources in an efficient and timely manner.
