The Kotin laboratory research areas are developing novel adeno-associated virus vectors for gene therapy applications, congruent phylogenies of dependoparvovirus / host-species, and characterization of genomic safe harbors for cell engineering. Qualifications include a doctorate in a relevant subject area, experience in molecular and cellular biology methodologies, demonstrated abilities in written and oral communication, and creativity.
