OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an outstanding individual for a fully funded postdoctoral position in the laboratories of Dale Greiner, Ph.D. and Michael Brehm, Ph.D. Our laboratories are developing a number of cutting-edge humanized mouse models to study human tumor/immune cell interactions.

Our research interests include; 1) effector functions of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, 2) immune regulatory mechanisms that suppress anti-tumor immunity and 3) identifying immune therapeutics that activate tumor specific immune responses. To address these interests, we use a number of approaches including immunological, cellular, molecular and genomic. In addition to learning multidisciplinary approaches to study human tumor immunity, the candidate will have opportunities for career development in both academic and private sectors.

Applicants should have a recent Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or an equivalent graduate degree and a first author publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Talented individuals with background and continued interest in human immunobiology are encouraged to apply. We seek an individual who is highly motivated, creative and independent, with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational, writing and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.
