GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The LMS Coordinator is a key member of the HR Communications, Learning and Talent Development (HR CLD) team; providing oversight for the Learning Management System and support for the administration of instructor-led training (ILT), blended, self-paced, and virtual learning modules. The LMS Coordinator will setup, manage, and report on all learning and assessments done through the Learning Management System. This position will be the “funnel” through which all learning is setup, assessed, and sent back out to HR LCD staff to gauge the need for the creation of new learning and maintenance of existing learning. This individual shall be committed to providing our employees with a well-organized and effective learning experience.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

LMS Training Set Up    

  • Setup all new learning content in the LMS to facilitate HR CLD training objectives. This includes instructor-led courses, blended, webinars, hybrid courses and other course formats.
  • Publish and assign courses in the Learning Management System as directed.  
  • Regularly meet with Training Instructors to facilitate scheduling of training.

LMS Maintenance   

  • Ensure LMS schedule of on-line and live training activities is maintained and up to date to provide accurate and current schedules to all UMMS employees.
  • Manage registration at select live events via the LMS remote registration functionality. 
  • Update and maintain LMS user groups and data, by activating and deactivating users based on monthly termination, new-hire, and promotion reports.
  • Monitor licensing usage and alerts management of potential for overages, or under-utilization.

LMS Metrics    

  • Prepare reports and analyze LMS data, including usage reports, survey data, and assessments and provide data to HR CLD Director for course evaluation.
  • Solicits feedback from employees and instructors to improve customer service.

LMS Training    

  • Train staff on how to use the LMS system to support registration and course set up as needed.
  • Ensure quality assurance functionality of courses and serve as a single point of contact within the HR CLD department to assist members and customers with any technical issues.  

Administrative   

  • Provides project and administrative support including distribution list maintenance, iCIMS reports and Onboarding/Orientation initiatives.
  • Supports internal social network platform administration and make edits and updates to the website using a content management system.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. (doesn’t need % cause automatic in template)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 Year College Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Experience in the areas of online learning or customer service.
  • Knowledge of online learning systems.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple on-going projects, prioritize workload and be detail-oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Level Degree
