
Postdoc openings are available in the Song Lab in the Department of Orthopedics, University of Massachusetts Medical School (faculty page: https://profiles.umassmed.edu/display/133591) for projects aimed at developing more effective strategies towards scaffold-guided/stem cell-based bone regeneration (e.g. hard to heal diabetic bone injuries), prevention/treatment of osteoarthritis (OA), cartilage/osteochondral tissue regeneration, and implant surface modifications for reducing periprosthetic infections.
A recent Ph.D. (within the last 2 years) in materials sciences, bioengineering, or skeletal biology is required. Hands-on experience in cell and molecular biology and animal work are desired.
