This internship program will begin Monday June 3rd and will end Friday, August 9th. The pay is $16-$17 an hour and the position is expected to be full-time over those 10 weeks. This will be a hybrid internship with mandatory in person sessions that are part of the program once a week.

The Emerging Professionals Summer Internship Program (EPSIP) is a paid internship experience for talented college students. Individuals historically underrepresented in STEM, health science and medicine are strongly encouraged to apply. General Summary of Position
The Office of Sustainability is looking to host an EPSIP student for the summer to assist with a variety of projects that provide an opportunity for students to learn how institutions play in creating a more sustainable healthcare system.
The Office of Sustainability is working on numerous projects that support the implementation of UMass Chans Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (SCAP). The SCAP focuses on the following focus areas: buildings and energy, grounds and transportation, and materials and resource management. The internship is highly flexible and can be tailored to the interns specific areas of interest. The schedule is flexible with in-person attendance.
Specifically, the Office of Sustainability is looking for research, communications, and implementation support on several ongoing projects. The Intern will be expected to research best practices, conduct informational interviews with peer institutions, plan and execute campus events, and develop project/program proposals.
