Prof. Jie Songs lab at the UMass Chan Medical School invites a postdoctoral fellow to participate in the development of functional biomaterials for guiding skeletal tissue regeneration and for combating periprosthetic infections.

• Recent (past 2 years) PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, Chemical Biology, Bioengineering, or Skeletal Biology;
• Expertise in examining cell-material interactions (e.g. immune cell regulations, stem cell lineage commitment) or syntheses and physical characterizations of functional biomaterials expected;
• Experience with animal studies desired but not required
