This internship program will begin Monday June 5th and will end Friday, August 11th. The pay is $16/hour and the position is expected to be full-time over those 10 weeks. This will be a hybrid internship. 

About Emerging Professionals Summer Internship Program (EPSIP) at UMass Chan Medical School

The Emerging Professionals Summer Internship Program (EPSIP) is a paid internship experience for talented college students.  Individuals historically underrepresented in STEM, health science and medicine are strongly encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to students that identify from one of the following underrepresented groups in STEM, health science and medicine:  Black/African Americans, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and other Pacific Islanders, individuals with a disability or the first in their family to attend college, are also strongly encourage to apply.

Participants in the EPSIP program benefit from:

Position Overview:

ForHealth Consulting is seeking an Intern to join Salesforce Solutions Engineering team in its Digital Solutions department. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who has a passion for learning and applying Salesforce skills in a professional environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with dynamic group and an opportunity to work cross-functionally not only with UMass Chan Medical School and ForHealth Consulting, but also with leaders from within the Commonwealth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Salesforce administration tasks such as user management, data cleanup, report generation and documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Work within the CRM team to problem solve and solution using Salesforce tools and applications.
  • Support the CRM team with data migration, data validation and reporting projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users and resolve user issues related to Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce administration and development is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
