Temprite Services is a division within the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Human Resources, which offers various levels of temporary support for departments within the institution as well as our affiliates.

This is a 30-40 hour (Monday - Friday) 5 month temporary position.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enters accounts payable and payroll deduction pay cycles into PeopleSoft.
  • Performing restricted pary scans on vendors.
  • Processing payment exceptions, payment cancellations and abandoned property. 
  • Produces routine and ad hoc reports for management and end users.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries and works with vendors to resolve invoice concerns in a timely manner.  
  • Performs additional job related duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of progressive office or related experience
  • Strong working knowledge of basic bookkeeping and mathematics, Microsoft Office, financial spreadsheets, and relational database packages
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills, with ability to set priorities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of English including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Experience in handling complex and confidential material
  • Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, judgment, and confidentiality
